Energy Storage Field Operations Coordinator
Location: On-site | Walnut, CA / Arizona Project Site
Job Type: Full-Time | Travel Required

Key Responsibilities:
Travel to the Arizona project site to support large-scale battery energy storage system/BESS field operations.
Assist with basic inspection, testing, disassembly, replacement support, and documentation of battery cells, modules, or related equipment.
Use laptops, tablets, or internal systems to upload photos, complete forms, record issues, and submit project updates.
Support system calibration, equipment checks, issue tracking, and follow-up in coordination with the client’s onsite team.
Coordinate onsite temporary staff or technicians to ensure project tasks are completed according to schedule.
Follow SOPs when handling damaged or defective battery cells/components; complex repair work is not required, but strong hands-on ability and safety awareness are essential.
Organize onsite work records, photos, data logs, and project documentation.
Follow all client site and company safety procedures to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
When not assigned to the Arizona project, report to the California office/warehouse and assist with equipment repair, inspection, project support, or other operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Prior experience with batteries, energy storage systems, electronic equipment, mechanical disassembly, equipment maintenance, field service, or related technical work is preferred.
Basic understanding of batteries, battery cells, electronic components, or energy storage equipment is preferred.
Strong hands-on ability and willingness to perform field tasks such as disassembly, inspection, handling, and documentation.
Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods and work in an outdoor/project-site environment in Arizona.
Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, email, online forms, and photo/document uploads.
Good English communication skills for daily communication with clients, onsite teams, and internal teams.
Reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to follow SOPs consistently.
Willingness to work overtime when required by project needs.
OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, electrical safety, lithium battery, or dangerous goods training is a plus.
Valid driver’s license required; need to operate a rental vehicle or company-arranged vehicle.
